Sensetosave.com accepts certain forms of advertising: Text link ads or banner advertisements in the sidebars, and links within old posts IF you allow me to disclose that the post contains a sponsored link.

In my sidebars, the “site partners” designation is an image rather than text. I also do some affiliate link advertising and I denote those links with an * and a disclosure at the bottom of the post.

Reviews

I’m open to reviewing your book or product. Please keep my readership in mind. It MUST be interesting, helpful and useful to a majority of my readers. Reviews should come with a giveaway item with a value of at least $50 total.

So, if you want me to review a book that retails for $10, I’d want to give away at least 5 copies to make it worth my readers’ time. I won’t take payment for running a review, but I will want a book/product for myself to keep.

If for some reason I’m not totally thrilled with your product and have a negative opinion, I will contact you before posting about it.

Guest Posts

I’d love to feature your guest post on my site. Guest posters should be fellow active bloggers. I’m not taking guest posts from freelancers right now, sorry!

Here are some guidelines:

  • I cannot guarantee that I will run your guest post. If I decide not to run it, I’ll let you know. And if I do want to run it, I’ll let you know when it’s scheduled.
  • Posts should offer money-saving tips, ideas on getting out of debt, investing, saving, retirement, sharing your money story, frugal hacks, or should fit in well with my site in general.
  • I’d love posts to be from Sensetosave.com readers, since you have a better understanding of my blog’s feel.
  • Submissions that have a strong PR or SEO promotional feel to it won’t be accepted, though you can link to your own site and others within reason.
  • Posts must be high-quality, original content (i.e. not published anywhere else online). Please be sure the post is grammatically sound and ready for me to post. I’m picky about guest posts I run on my site. Gotta keep the readers happy!
  • I reserve the right to edit posts for length, clarity and style.
  • Include a short bio at the end of your post. Feel free to include a link to your site.
  • No affiliate links within the post. Unless they are mine :)
  • I do not offer monetary compensation for guest posts.
You can submit a pitch for a post, and tell me your general post’s message and outline. I’ll say “yea or nay” on your query.

Or, you can submit the entire completed post and I’ll review it and tell you if I’d like to run it, or if I don’t think it would be a good fit for my blog.

General PR

For the most part, I don’t do anything with press releases. Except quickly archive them. Sorry. It’s just, I blog about things that are going on in my life that relate to the overall frugal living/personal finance niche.
