Hartwood Acres Christmas lights

Tonight, we drove through Hartwood Acres, which is a park in the northern part of the Pittsburgh metro. There are 3.2 miles through the park of Christmas lights, and it was really neat! Johnny seemed to get a kick out of it.

I tried taking pictures but I doubt any of them came out. Anyway, if you live in the area you should go.

Yesterday we went downtown and walked around the Wintergarden at PPG Place and saw some of the adorable gingerbread houses and the Santas from around the world on display. We’ve done that every year we’ve lived here. It was really cold and windy so we didn’t watch people on the ice skating rink outside.

Johnny saw a Santa and he wasn’t really impressed. We didn’t have our camera with us and there wasn’t a photographer for that Santa, so we didn’t have him sit on his lap or anything.

And we were at Walmart today and there was a Santa in the lobby and you could take pictures with him. He was sort of pitiful, as you could see that there was a very rectangular pillow stuffed in front of his shirt. I should have taken my picture with him so I could show you.
