Baby’s first outfit

May 22nd, 2008

Everyone say, “Awwww” hehe. As part of our “Thank you for sharing our special day” gift package (super adorable, by the way!), Shane’s sister, Shannon, gave us our first baby outfit.

It’s a little fishy onesie with a zip-up jacket. Too cute! I love the little pockets. Cuz when you’re 3 months old, you need to have pockets to put snacks in and stuff. Also, you probably can’t see in the picture, but on the onesie sleeve, there is a tiny pocket that’s big enough for like a goldfish cracker or something. So little!

It’s so bizarre to think that early next year (Lord-willing), there will be a tiny person to wear it.

Shawn and his girlfriend, Whitney, (Shane’s brother) also gave us some sweet presents. We got a Willow Lake figurine of a pregnant lady (that’s me! Ahhh!) which goes well with the bride and groom figurine my grandma gave Shane and I at my bridal shower.

Also, we got a sweet little plaque/sign that says, “Baby…sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart. –Winnie the Pooh.” Aww!

Thanks, everyone! You’re too kind :)

I LOVE Willow Tree figurines. We got one before our wedding, too, and got one figure each for our parents as a thank-you gift. Very cool. I’ve seen the pregnant one, it’s neat.

Do you have any idea where the plaque came from? I would love something like that. I’m a huge Pooh fan. I even found a way to have him at our wedding…the back of our wedding bulletins had the “If you live to be a hundred, I want to live one hundred minus one day so that I will never have to live without you.” quote on the back. This would be perfect for our nursery which I hope to need soon!

AAWWW!! That is so cute! I absolutely adore little tiny clothing! Guess that’s why I think it’s fun to purchase baby gifts!
