Winter isn’t so bad, right?

February 26th, 2008

I’ve been griping about winter too much lately. It’s to the point where I want to maim snowmen.

It’s not the best mindset to have, especially since I can do nothing to change the weather or my present location.

So, I’m going to list some good things about this season. Feel free to add to my list!

  • You can drink hot coffee, tea and cocoa and it warms you up, and that’s a good thing.
  • You can eat foods you normally wouldn’t during the summer, such as soups, stews, and heavy meals.
  • You can cuddle up with cozy blankets.
  • Bugs aren’t an issue during the winter. Where in the world do they go, anyway? And, can they stay there?
  • Um…the end.

You can use the crockpot more! I dislike eating heavy meals from the crockpot in the summer, but I love cranking it up once or twice a week all through winter.
