9 Free Kindle’s books for a DIY writer’s workshop

In addition to subscribing to Amazon’s top 100 Free books RSS feed in my Google Reader, I also now subscribe to two blogs that highlight freebies that don’t always make it to Amazon’s top list (Pixel of Ink and Pixel of Ink Young Edition)

Remember, even if you do not own a Kindle ereader, you can still download these titles for free and read them on your computer, or iPod, or smartphone. I own all of these titles, so even if they are not free when you want to download it, if you still would like to read it perhaps I can lend it to you electronically. Just email me about it.

These books are free for such a short amount of time, so grab the title so you can own it forever. Also, do be sure that these titles are still free, because they may have changed since I hit “publish.” ALSO — be sure that it is truly a free book for you, and not just “free for Amazon Prime members.” That’s a new thing on Amazon lately.

Lastly, these are affiliate links.

  1. Thanks for sharing those new links! After you first posted about the free kindle feed, I joined that and have gotten way too many books. I was just getting every single one, but it took up too much space on my ipod, so now I’m just getting the ones I know I’ll read. I live abroad and English language books are hard to come by and when you do find them, they are at least 5x the price.
    Thanks again!!!

  2. You can archive your books so that they aren’t taking up space on your ipod! In archiving them, you still will have access to them later if you choose.

Hey! I'm Kacie, wife to Shane and mother to Jonathan (7), Vivienne (5) and Amelia (2) . I write about my family's finance: how we save money, improve our spending, and plan for the future.

I hope I can inspire and encourage you to improve your situation. See disclosure.

I'm adopting a much slower-paced posting schedule, and treating this as a hobby blog now.
