Easy felt food for kids

Inspired by these felt cupcakes, I thought I’d make some felt food for Johnny to play with. I used the template on that link to cut out cupcakes, frosting and liners. Johnny likes to put sprinkles on them, and later maybe I can custom order a cupcake for him to make for me. Heh.

It’s a simple project and the materials are cheap.

I kept going with the felt food theme and also created some pizza toppings. I freehanded all aspects of the pizza (and I think it shows). There’s a few toppings he can choose from and I plan to get a darker shade of red to create some pepperoni. It could use some more cheese, too. Pictured is a cheese-and-olive pizza, heavy on the sauce.

   Those are cute! And so cheap and easy, too.

   And I prefer my pizzas with lots of sauce. :) Looks yummy!
