A Keeper and $100

I won a Keeper Cup in a giveaway hosted by Mrs Money! Yay! I don’t expect to have a chance to test it out for awhile, and whenever I get around to it, I’m not sure if I’ll post about it on here. So feel free to e-mail me if you’re curious about my thoughts on it.

In the meantime, she’s running another Keeper giveaway. Go ahead and enter here. Good luck!

And I suppose she’s feeling extra generous, because Mrs Money is also giving away $100. Just go here and enter!

  1. Um…EW! I’ve looked into these and I just can’t stomach the idea of it. I get queasy must thinking about it. If you do blog about it I’ll probably skip the review. =D

  2. Lol that’s ok! The other kinds of products out there (disposable) have some questionable things in it.

  3. I have a Diva Cup – same concept, different styling – and I love it. It has saved me hundreds of dollars over the years; I’ve been using mine for 4 1/2 years and spent $20 initially. (I did take a 20 month break to have a baby and breastfeed.) If I spent $10 a month (and I think that is conservative) on feminine hygiene products, this paid for itself in two months and I’ve gotten saved at least $300 to date. I anticipate that it will last me a good long time yet.

It’s a little icky at first, but I’ve gotten really good at cleaning it up without too much mess. There was a squeamishness to start, but I got over it. :)

Hey! I'm Kacie, wife to Shane and mother to Jonathan (7), Vivienne (5) and Amelia (2) . I write about my family's finance: how we save money, improve our spending, and plan for the future.

I hope I can inspire and encourage you to improve your situation. See disclosure.

I'm adopting a much slower-paced posting schedule, and treating this as a hobby blog now.
