In anticipation of Spring cleaning …
Being snowbound isn’t so terrible. I’ve had some time to sort through things and increase my “donate” pile.
As winter winds down, I want to be sure to have all cold-weather clothing that I want to get rid of donated soon.
Thrift stores probably won’t want heavy sweaters on their racks in the warmer months, and shoppers won’t really benefit, either.
So if you’re planning to donate wintery things, do it soon! Check with the charity to be sure they want those items, if you’re uncertain.
In the meantime, be on the lookout for deals on winter wear for next season. Thrift and regular retail stores are starting to mark down items in preparation of spring items. You can get some pretty good deals, if you have somewhere to store the stuff!
