Yeah I’ve been using the street view (and satellite as well) with Google Maps. SO HANDY! How in the world did people house-hunt without the internet? Oh yeah, they saw a ton of crap houses in person.

I’ve also learned to do the drive-by. There have been so many houses that looked fantastic in the photos but turned out to be dumps in reality. Trulia.com has also been helpful to me–it lets you see street views of the houses you are viewing.
