i must admit that i love contests. however, due to time constraints, i don’t. i have recently entered a few online contests and won a free book. i haven’t considered sweepstakes because i didn’t think the stuff would be worth winning. good luck and i can’t wait to see what kinds of things you win.

I won a few small prizes when I used to devote more time to entering sweepstakes online. I guess I'm just not that lucky. I have won some in the past. I won a Zune mp3 player from pepsi points worth $140 and I won $20 from Coke through Sweeties site. I plan to kick it up when I get a better computer.

I enter contests all the time and actually win too. Recently, with the new house, everything has slowed down but I am still winning books and things (mostly from blogs). I have won trips, ipods, movies, etc. It is one of my favorite things to do.

That's funny. I am just the opposite. For example, I have NEVER won anything at any sporting even I've ever attended. Hi Kacie,

I’m glad you got a chance to read the articles. I win something almost every week and it has definitely made a difference in our family’s lives. Each year we win at least 3 big things like a TV, a trip, $5,000 (which was a first), or a car that makes a HUGE dent in our income. And then we win lots of smaller things like $25 gift certificates or $100 in gas too.

I used to spend a lot of my time clipping coupons and saving that way but now I guess I just spend my time entering sweepstakes to add to our income.

Just about anything you do helps though. I figure everyone has their “niche” so what works for me might not work for you and vice versa. That is the beauty of the Internet. You will definitely find someone interested the same things you are.

I enter giveaways fairly often on blogs. I’ve won a book and a design for my baby announcement. Both off ohamanda.com. I also won a teeny tiny scrapbook on another blog. I think that’s it. But still, it can’t hurt to try!
