Go vote, then have a free cuppa

After you vote today, you can have a free cup of coffee, maybe a donut, maybe more! Visit MoneySavingMom to learn details.

Shane and I will head to the polls as soon as he gets home from work this evening. I’m thinking it might be a good idea to take a small chair while I wait in line! And if the line is really long, maybe I’ll order a pizza. Heh.

Go America!

  1. Ha! I saw a pregnant lady in line with a chair when I early voted on Saturday. I thought, “Good idea.” I wished I had a chair. You should definitely do it!

    Happy voting! :)

  2. Tim and I went this morning before he went to work and we didn’t have to wait at all! We were there by 7 though and people started accumulating after we voted. It was the oldest machine I’ve ever used! Too funny!
I was reading on a message board this morning that one lady’s water broke last night/early this am and she was really disappointed to miss out on voting. Some of the other ladies told her to go anyway and wear a t-shirt that said she was a part of the ‘Labor Party’. LOL!! :)

  3. I went and took advantage of no excuse early voting so I wouldn’t need to stand in line today, but the chair is a fabulous idea! You’ll have people around you quite jealous. :)

And that Labor Party comment, Stacy, is awesome, hehe.
