A post round-up for the end of a busy week

September 12th, 2008 at 12:17 pm

I’ve had a somewhat busy (but good) week. Yesterday, I was all over the city running errands and I went to a new group meeting for women new to the Pittsburgh area. It was nice! It makes the world feel a little smaller and a little less lonely when you can make personal connections with folks.

Lately, Shane and I have been busy trying to get our apartment ready for our son’s arrival. It has been so freeing to get rid of stuff and to get more organized. Our goal is to get everything on our to-do list completed by mid-November at the latest. I know there will be a time soon when I’m too gigantic to be able to spend too much time on my feet, and we really don’t have a good reason to put stuff off for too much longer.

Because I’m silly, I’m including a photo of what I’d look like with ’80s hair. Make yourself giggle by uploading a pic of yourself at yearbookyourself.com.
I’m a little behind on my blog reading, but I wanted to highlight a few posts that caught my eye recently from the Money Life Network:

Wow, I’m dating myself by saying that I already know what I look like with 80’s hair. Don’t wanna go back there! Have a great weekend!

LOL! You really are silly!

I’m glad to hear you’re making connections with other women in your area. Hope you make some friends you can hang out with soon. I’ve been trying to pick up moms-to-be in my town, and it’s worse than dating!

Boy howdy - that’s some good 80s hair indeed! I had a bit of a mullet myself in the 80s if I recall… Pretty cool indeed! :)

You know Kacie, I think you are short changing yourself by not actually having that hair do. Work it girl! ;-)

Blessings!
