Submit Walgreens rebates online

July 8th, 2008 at 1:35 pm

Thanks to RH for letting me know you can submit your Walgreens rebates online! I had no idea this was possible. (I can’t remember if someone else mentioned that, too. I tried to find another comment with that suggestion, but I couldn’t. Sorry for leaving you out, if I did!)

I just tried it out, and it was pretty easy. Go to Walgreens.com, click the EasySaver catalog button and click “claim rebates.” You’ll have to register for an account, but it doesn’t take much time.

You’ll enter a unique code from your receipt to show that you’ve purchased an item that generates a rebate.

It saves a stamp and saves an envelope. Gotta love that!

I just started submitting my rebates this way and I LOVE it! I enter the receipt the same day that I shop and then if I forget to tell them I am completely done at the end of the month they will automatically process my rebate. Also this frees up your receipt to send in for possible other manufacturer rebates, if any.

Thanks for posting the news (and linking to me!!).

As I commented earlier, I myself didn’t know about this until the Saturday afternoon when I missed the postman, and hence the postmark deadline for quite a big rebate check. Luckily, I found the link.

There are numerous advantages to submitting online besides the savings in postage … it automatically calculates the rebate values … You can just add the receipt number they day you purchase it and then forget about the whole thing till the end of the month. No need to safeguard your receipt (I constantly lost mine and had rebates gone down the drain or the washer ;) ).

Another such good online rebate place is Staples … I just love their EasyRebate program.
