I wish we had a CVS here. *sigh* We just have Walgreens and Rite Aid.

I didn’t want to spend even $0.99 on each shampoo/conditioner so I skipped that one. But I did pay $1 for the Finesse. We didn’t get the coupons here. I was bummed about that.

I also got the Crest mouthwash free after rebate but I thought it was just one rebate for the offer (either or, not both).

I just started shopping Rite Aid and LOVE all the deals and rebates. I bought film (spend $20 get $10 back) so my MIL will get nine rolls of film for $13 (it ended up being $23 total).

And if I were pregnant I’d totally be stocking up on things like toilet paper and batteries. :)

There’s also a $1 off coupon for Finesse. I believe it was in Sunday’s newspaper, but I’m not totally sure.

Combine that with the rebate, and the two bottles are free!

I was able to hound a good deal on Huggies baby stuff this week at Long’s, but I’m not sure if you have a Long’s Drugs there (or if your Entertainment Book has a Long’s coupon)?

The deal was buy $30 worth of Kimberly Clark products, get a $10 gift card back by mail.

Huggies diapers on sale for $9.49 x 2 = $18.98
Huggies bath & body on sale for $2 x 4 = $8
Huggies baby wipes on sale for $2 x 2 = $4
For a total of $30.98

Coupons used: 2 x $1 off any Huggies diapers; 4 x $1 off any Huggies bath & body; 2 x $.50 off any Huggies wipes; $5 off any $25 purchase at Long’s

Which takes the total down to $18.98, and you get a $10 GC back, so $8.98 plus tax. I also had overage on another product (of $3) that took care of the sales tax for me, so I ended up at $8.23 after all was said and done for 2 jumbo packs of diapers, 2 body washes, 2 lotions, and 2 packages of wipes (64 count).

We don’t have children, but friends are due with twins in August and are having a shower next month and asked for baby supplies and diapers.

I’m sure that you already know, but CVS takes those coupons from Rite Aid too. I’ve been moving my prenatal back and for between the two every month.

Oh, and speaking of stockpiles to have with a newborn around… I would also stockpile batteries. It seems like everything runs on them from the swing to the bouncer to the mobile… there’s nothing worse than running out of juice when your little one is only calmed by a working bouncer!
