Adperk offering more free magazines

June 10th, 2008 at 4:03 pm

Thanks to Adventures in Money Land, I discovered Adperk is now offering more free magazines!

I spent 17 minutes watching ads to earn a free year’s subscription to Parenting magazine. I watched ads consecutively, while flipping through my free Good Housekeeping magazine that I also earned from Adperk.

You can now also get a free subscription to Redbook. I already get that magazine and really enjoy it.

If you’ve got the time and like free magazines, check it out!

I’ve heard so many raves about this site, so I decided to try it out last night and hopefully earn a free Redbook subscription. But now I’m just confused! I’ve earned 2 credits, but the site simply won’t let me register. When I hit the Register button, nothing ever comes up. I tried it again today and still nothing. I have a great internet connection, so I know it can’t be timing out. Is there something I was supposed to install that I missed? Anyone have any idea what the problem coule be? Thanks!

Hmm. I’m not totally sure. You might try accessing the site using a different browser. For example, if you generally use Firefox, try Internet Explorer (or vice versa).

If that doesn’t work and you’re dead set on getting a free subscription to Redbook, perhaps you can e-mail Adperk and let them know what’s going on.

Good luck!

I had issues registering a couple of weeks ago too!
I tried it again over the weekend and it worked out just fine for me… maybe they had a glitch? or maybe you’re using an older bowser?

I can’t wait to start getting my subscription in the mail.

What I love most about AdPerk is that I actually *enjoyed* the videos that I watched! Pretty cool that you can actually choose the ads that you watch. Very informative and I’m actually tempted to buy some of the products that I learned about! *gasp!*

Landed upon your blog somehow, it’s now bookmarked. I love magazines but they were x-ed out of my budget about the same time I got pregnant. This is so awesome! Imiss actually thumbing through a magazine when everything is so digital these days. Wow,I think I sound like my Grandma.
