The jig is up, the news is out–we’re having a baby!

I’ve been keeping a secret from you, and thought it would be appropriate to share it with you on Mother’s Day.
Shane and I are expecting our first baby to arrive around the end of 2008 or early 2009! On Tuesday, I’ll be about seven weeks along. We’re really excited!
As you might imagine, I expect to start blogging about frugal/financial baby things on this blog (in addition to other topics), and my more personal thoughts and experiences with having a baby on my personal blog.
To all you mothers out there: Happy Mother’s Day! Lord-willing, I’ll be joining you for next year’s celebration.

    Congratulations! That is such wonderful news! May the Lord bless you with a healthy pregnancy, labor, delivery and new baby!

    I have 2 boys and I have to say that I only buy Pampers – I buy the swaddlers when they are nursing only b/c it “sucks” the liquidy poop right into the diaper. I know that other people use generic diapers, but I find that Pampers is the best for us, and I rarely have leaks – which is worth the extra money to me. I should say that Luvs is okay too, but only when the baby is older (my opinion).

    I hope that you do not mind that advice – that is just my opinion!
