A loaf of bread for $0.10

I didn’t know you could buy anything for a dime anymore. Well, today at Aldi, there was a manager’s special on loaves of bread and hamburger buns.

Only $0.10/loaf! What!? That’s cheaper than you can make it, I’m pretty certain. Regularly, it’s like $0.69/loaf.

I bought four loaves and stuck them in my freezer. We tend to use whole wheat bread for sandwiches and things, so I’ll use this bread for making croutons, bread crumbs, French toast, and in casseroles.

Huzzah!

  1. Wow I would be happy with .69 a loaf. On a good day I get it for $1.13

  2. WOW!!! Great Deal!! Man and to think I paid $1.50 for a loaf of Whole Wheat at ShopRite just yesterday…and that was on sale with a coupon!!!

  3. Is Aldi a bread outlet? Too bad we don’t have those near us.

I usually pay considerably more than .69 cents, even when I look for the best deal.
