When will you get your economic stimulus check?

March 18th, 2008 at 1:27 pm

Angie at Thrifty Florida Mama has uncovered the answer!

You’ll receive your check based on the last two digits of your social security number. If you had direct deposit for your federal tax return for 2007, then you’ll have direct deposit on your stimulus check. You’ll have your check deposited by May 16 at the latest.

Conversely, if you didn’t use direct deposit, then you’ll have to wait for a paper check to show up.

That means, you won’t get your check until mid-May, June or July.

As for us? We’re expecting $1,200 to show up in our checking account by May 9. Woo hoo!

That’s great! i’m so excited! My birthday is in May, and it will be a nice gift: a big chunk out of credit card debt!

WooHoo, May 16th for us, a little later than many but $1800 is fantastic! House needs a roof - have to keep the kiddos dry!
