Sell nothing for less than 25 cents. If you have big valuable items...the Pennysaver or the weekly paper in your area may offer free ads for a listing of a few of those items; list antique stuff, furniture, baby stuff, electronic stuff & appliances - place this ad separately from your group ad. Get your prices set in your mind and set your first price 30% above what you want so you can come down in price because people will want to haggle you to death and you will be too busy. Tell them to come back at the end of the sale day if they really want the item and do not wish to meet your price. That will let you know how serious they are and vice versa. Consider what ebay fees and packaging will be plus your time when you set prices.. It will be way easier to get rid of this stuff at a yard sale than all that you must do to ship for ebay. My mom found these little apron type things to keep money in. She found them in the paint or tools section of our local WalMart. They were $1 or less, small but not tiny, had 3 pockets, and were lightweight. We really enjoyed using them to keep our money in. As far as change, I agree with S.B. above.
