Three newish blogs I’d like you to visit

January 3rd, 2008 at 9:53 pm

While searching the depths of the blogosphere, I’ve found a few good blogs that have recently formed.

You know how it felt when you were starting out at as a blogger. You wondered if anyone would read it, right? That’s how I felt, anyway.

So, go check them out, post a comment so they know you were there, and consider subscribing to their blogs in your reader.

Be Thrifty Like Us - M.B. and S.B. have been blogging there  since Dec. 31. It hasn’t even been a week for them yet, and they’re already blogging up a storm about current deals, ways to make a little money by taking surveys from companies that pay well, and how to get a free 8-week membership to Bally fitness. Awesome, you two! Keep it up.

The Grocery Cart Challenge has been going since December. Gayle created it as a spinoff of her main blog, Grace4Gayle. She’s challenging herself to take her $700-800 monthly grocery spending and reduce it to $50 per week for a family of six. Egads! She’s well on the way to her goal.

Moms Makin’ Cents have been at it since November. These two moms, Sandi and Kristy, are becoming all-around more frugal and are also trying to lower their monthly grocery spending. They’re begging for help, but all I think they need is a little encouragement.

They all have great blogs. I’ve bookmarked them so that I can go back and read some more of their posts.

BTW, I am having a hard time loading your page when I visit. Has anyone else mentioned this? It takes a while and often freezes up. It may just be my computer.

Thanks for letting me know about the site loading issues. It’s new to me, so I’ll have DH look into it when he gets home tonight.
