The Kmart deal that wasn’t

December 18th, 2007 at 3:18 pm

I just got back from Kmart and I tried to do this deal. I thought that I might be able to get a free braided rug, but no, I couldn’t.

I found a $19.99 rug that I liked, and I thought I could use a $20 off coupon from the Kmart web site. Nope–since it’s a penny off, the coupon wouldn’t work.

There was a $24.99 rug that was a similar style but different size. I could have gotten it for $5 plus tax, but ya know what? It wouldn’t have worked as well in my home. To me, it wasn’t worth $5. I decided to walk out of the store empty-handed.

Still, if you’re in the market for a braided rug, you might check out that deal to see if you could find something you need.
