Although the elf doesn't deliver them, my kids look forward to putting on their freshly washed jammies. Last year they (18, 16, 14, 12) wanted to put them on as soon as we arrived home from Christmas Eve service. We did, of course. Then we ate big bowls of soup and watched a new Christmas DVD (last year was Polar Express). What fun traditions are! We have done new pajamas on Christmas Eve for many years. Although the elf doesn’t deliver them, my kids look forward to putting on their freshly washed jammies.
