Holiday Rite Aid gift card deal

November 29th, 2007 at 12:45 pm

Thanks to Hopewell Mom for telling me about this deal!

For those of you with a Rite Aid in your area, you’ll want to look into the details on this deal.

Here’s the fine print on this offer:

Offer #500
Valid from 11/25/07 to 12/24/07
Rite Aid Gift Certificate
VALID ONLY ON PRODUCTS
PURCHASED 11/25/07 - 12/24/07**
Gift of Savings Offer
Just by shopping at Rite Aid during the holidays, you can earn as much as $20* sent to you in the form of a Rite Aid gift certificate.

Earning your gift certificate is a snap:
• Save all your Rite Aid receipts from November 25 through December 24.
• Enter all of your information and the code from your receipts on the Gift of Savings program website.
• Get your gift certificate mailed right to your home.

Purchase $25.00-$50.00 for a $5.00 Rite Aid Gift Certificate OR
Purchase $50.01-$100.00 for a $10.00 Rite Aid Gift Certificate OR
Purchase $100.01 or more for a $20.00 Rite Aid Gift Certificate

* Qualifying purchase amount is determined before sales tax and excludes the purchase of prescriptions, prescription co-pays, lottery tickets, tobacco, alcohol products, money orders, gift certificates, stamps, licenses, other mailing services and any other items excluded by law. Returned products will not be honored for rebate or other offers.Cash back is provided in the form of a Rite Aid gift certificate via mail. Rite Aid gift certificate will be mailed separately from any rebate checks. Qualifying receipts must be submitted by January 23, 2008. Gift certificates will be mailed after the promotional period ends and will expire on April 26, 2008. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash, may not be returned, and will not be replaced if lost or stolen.

**Offer valid only on products purchased between the dates shown above. Purchases made outside of stated dates will not be honored.

Whew! Lotsa fine print! If you were going to spend these amounts anyway, you should be sure to enter your receipts online so that you’ll get the gift card.

I may be interpreting the terms incorrectly (what do you think?) but it looks like purchases for regular rebate will still count toward this gift card.  The last two months, I’ve spent about $50 at Rite Aid (and had it all refunded via rebate) so if I do it again for December, I could get a $10 gift card out of the deal.

A reminder: The November sale period for Rite Aid ends on December 1. If you don’t plan to buy anything else from Rite Aid this month, be sure to enter your receipts and request your check NOW. You have until the end of December to enter your receipts, but why wait? It’s your money, go get it!
