A trick with lotion

November 21st, 2007 at 12:35 am

If my hands are dry, I won’t put lotion on them. That could be wasteful. Instead, I find another dry patch on my body: perhaps my elbows, face, feet, whatever.

I’ll put a squirt of lotion on my hands and moisturize the other part of my body first. The remaining lotion is always enough to rub in my hands, so I’m able to moisturize two body parts for the price of one.

Works for me! Check out other tips at Rocks in My Dryer.

Good tip! If my hands just can’t absorb the lotion well enough, I put some on before bed and then put on cotton gloves for overnight. Helps the lotion to sink in deeply and my heads are good again for a while.

Great tip! I do this too, but I’ve never thought about it or done it intentionally… But now I will! =)
