Thanks for following me over from my Blogger blog! If something isn’t working, or if you have suggestions for improvement, I’d love to hear from you.

In other news, my mother just called. She only visits my blog occasionally, and she just saw that I had purchased a blood glucose monitor from CVS. She was worried that I had problems with my blood sugar.

Lol! No, mom, I’m healthy. I explained to her that I got it for free, and bought it so I would get $20 ECB from CVS. I laughed.

The CVS ads for the week beginning Nov. 18 are OK. I think their post-Thanksgiving specials will likely be even better, though.

Some deals of note:

-Tylenol Vial regular or extra strength 10-ct. $2.49, generates $2.49 in ECB (page 23 in ad) Use this $1 off Tylenol printable for even more savings

-American Telecom Pay N’ Talk Phone $9.99, free after manufacturer’s mail-in rebate (page 7)

Be sure to use your $2 off $10 or $5 off $30 printable coupons for your purchases.

Visit Crystal’s blog for a lot more CVS deals!

I like the new look! I know how frustrating it can be switching from Blogger to Wordpress, you did good!

If you want to get rid of the popularity percentages that show up on each post let me know. I did it with my blogs (but of course forgot). It still keeps track of the most popular posts, you just don’t have to see the “Popularity: 18%” or whatever. I can figure it out again if you want.

If you want to keep the message on your home page, but also have your blog posts on that page you can use the plugin “What would seth godin do” If shows a welcome message that you can customize to your new readers (up to the first 3 times they visit or more).

My other site is Working For Financial Freedom. I really like your blog, you have a lot of creative things to save money.

I have a question about your buying the glucose monitor. So you buy it, you get the $20 in ECBs, but what do you do with it then? Return it? Resell it? Donate it? Thanks!

Erin-
Thanks for your advice! My husband managed to take the popularity % down. I haven’t quite decided the purpose of the main page, but I’ll look into that plugin later on. Thanks!
