It’s true. I don’t mind surprise gifts, but I’d generally be more excited to get something unexpected and yet desired. :)

It’s a surprise since they didn’t know they were getting it, whether they consciously wanted it or not. Frankly, I love it when people give me a list–even if I don’t buy something on the list, I can get something related and be more assured they’ll like it.
