Then again, before passing judgement we should remember that there are people who are so deeply entrenched in poverty that stealing starts to make sense. No one likes to see their kids go hungry. We had no paper, no tape, no paints,virtually no games or toys, nothing to do, nothing to play with. There truly is a difference between frugal and cheap!<br/>I remember reading once about the stingiest woman who ever lived. She was ridiculously wealthy, and yet refused to pay for medical treatment for her son. He lost a leg because she couldn't find a doctor who would treat him for free. Last I heard of that story, she died and the kid (now a grown-up) spent the money like there was no tomorrow. Who could blame him? Talk about being frugal at the expense of someone else! Great post!
