8 cents per egg at Walgreens

October 15th, 2007 at 6:35 pm

If you live near a Walgreens, be sure to stop in for a great deal on large eggs. They’re 3 doz./$3 this week. Naturally, when I got there, they were all sold out. I asked the manager for a rain check, which he promptly filled out and gave to me.

It doesn’t expire.

That’s .083 per egg!

Okay, I’m seriously thinking that it’s an impediment to my frugality that we don’t have a CVS or a Walgreen’s here! Ahh! :)

Yeah! You need those stores. Maybe write to corporate headquarters and ask for them to put one near you :)

I don’t know if you can get the same deals by making purchases online, but it might be something to investigate.

Yes, I got some eggs! Thanks for the tip. Looks like I’m gonna be doing a lot of baking this week.
