This baking guide is wonderful for that, especially for all of those holiday trays and figuring out your savings. Thank you!

This is great! I've been wanting to figure out how much I am spending to make a loaf of my own bread. This will definately get me started. :) I'll have to post on my blog the price breakdown when I do. :) I'll point your way for the help!

Blessings!

Just stumbled on this… nice work. I got two pounds for 2.99 at Sams. It came in two bags, I keep one in a cool dark place and the open one in the fridge. Most recipes call for 1tbsp, which is the same as what's in a small envelope. The strip of 3 envelopes costs at least $0.99 but if you buy in bulk, 1 tbsp=7gr or $0.02. Quite a bit of savings. Also, when you find butter on sale, like right now is 1.69/lb in one of my grocery stores, try to stock up for the holidays. You can keep it in the freezer.

Kacie,

If you do any baking with yeast try to find it in bulk. I got two pounds for 2.99 at Sams.
